If you are going to replace it, or have it re-flashed send it to a company that does this.Īn SMD/BGA Rework Station will have to be used, (I assume), to remove the BIOS chipset, and replace after flashing. The Basic Input/Output System program is stored in a BIOS chipset, on the motherboard.
